Activity Feed

It’s been quiet here for a while, so I guess it’s time to share what I’m currently working on. Since the previous version was released, I have been focusing on 1 new feature - “Activity Feed”. Its purpose is to show the log with the latest changes and events that took place within the repository. The functionality should be very helpful if we need to track what recently happened in the repository - e.g. what files and tasks we worked on recently, or what new documents appeared recently in the repository.

Today I’m releasing bunch of features - Keepmark 1.33.0 is now available to download. The biggest feature was mentioned in previous posts - Dashboard module, which can present the status of the selected workspace. Apart from that, a lot of smaller features appeared, such as simple configurable workflow for the documents module.

Tasks planning

One of the new features in the upcoming version of Keepmark will be the ability to plan tasks. Simple functionality, but it can change a lot in managing your tasks. There will be 3 fields here - scheduled task date, estimated duration and task deadline (the last one I decided to separate in order to mark out when we want to do a task from when it has to be done).

Dashboard view

In the upcoming version I am focusing more on features this time. One of the biggest changes will be the introduction of a new view/module - Dashboard. The purpose of the module is to present the general status of the selected repository, upcoming tasks, recently used and new documents, or progress on the most important projects. The view will be configurable by the user by selecting widgets and their location on screen.

Keepmark 1.32.0

It’s time to release a bunch of fixes and improvements I’ve collected in the new Keepmark 1.32.0. Among the changes there are 2 new features - the ability to merge documents, and the ability to open documents using configured external tools. The last one can be quite a powerful and interesting tool to extend Keepmark’s functionality on your own (e.g. by attaching your own external scripts and applications there).
