For the last month there was some silence here, so I guess it’s the right time to let you know what’s going on in the project. I decided to resign from my own frame for the application window and switch to the native frame of the operating system. It gives much more comfort in working with the application window and is more reliable. As a result, I also re-worked the look of the main application window a bit. There is no revolution, but it will look a little different. As of today it looks like this:
Other change you may notice here is moving the Toolbar for documents from above the document title to the very bottom of the view. The previous placement seemed particularly awkward and unattractive to me when a document is opened in a new window.
